FELLOW Carter Wide Mug (355ml/12oz)

Love the wide format. It gives you the ability to enjoy the smell and the taste or great coffee with every sip. Fellow ceramic lines their mugs to protect our precious coffee from stainless adding to the appeal of the product.

Nice travel mug! I was looking to get this to use directly with my aeropress when I travel and the fit is perfect.

Best mug I have ever used. Have been using this brand for three years and bought more for my friends and myself.

Sometimes I leave the lid off and use it as an office mug. Even without the lid, it keeps my coffee hot for a good 2 hours. With the lid on, it's still steaming after 8 hours. The ceramic interior is virtually impossible to stain, coffee oils get wiped off easily, and you could probably get away with washing this with just hot water. Just don't forget to wash the rubber seal after every few uses.

10/10 I would buy it again (that is if this one even manages to break).

Perfect size to take to work! My coffee tastes like it should thanks to the ceramic inside! Love the lip that gives a great sipping experience :) I plan on ordering more if there is other colours coming!

I wanted to leave a review that addresses some of the "cons" of this mug, based on other reviews I've read about this mug.

First off, the smell. As frequently mentioned when it comes to the ceramic coating, there is definitely an onion-y type of smell. Personally, I find this smell to be a result of the oils that are produced when brewing coffee, and despite all the attention it gets, I find the smell to be coffee-like and inoffensive. I only notice the smell after the coffee has been drank and the mug has been cleaned.

Secondly, the staining. I've owned two of these mugs now and they're used a LOT. Are they stained? Yup. Does this bother me? No. I use them a lot, and staining doesn't impact the overall taste for me.

Lastly, the size. These mugs don't fit into any cup holders that I've encountered so far. However, they perfectly fit my aeropress, and they work perfectly with my Clever and v60, and that's what I want the most out of my coffee vessels.

In conclusion, I've owned several Carters, I love them, and I will probably buy more. 5/5 would recommend, if you're undeterred by what I've noted.

This is a great mug, keeps the coffee hot for a very long time, looks good and is just the perfect size for me. I’m often interrupted in the morning just as I finish making my first cup of coffee and have to feed the dog, take him out and take care of other things that pop up first thing in the morning.

I was getting tired of finally getting to my coffee and finding it had cooled off, this mug remedies that situation. It’s also nice to drink from with the very thin lip. It’s easy to clean and matches the rest of my Fellow gear nicely

Beautiful and practical to bring coffee from home to work. Fully leak proof. I needed to let my coffee cool down for a few minutes so that it does not "steam" inside as I enjoy my filter coffee less hot, and the mug keeps the same temperature for hours.

Bought this mug for my wife who prefers a smaller amount of coffee in the morning. Love the color selection and wider mouth lip compared to the Move mug.

Bought the mug in red for my partner, the interior ceramic is stellar. From strong teas too odd coffees, no odor / aftertaste lingers.
An aeropress fits perfect onto the wide mouth & beverages stay hot/cold for hours!

Only downside is that it is too thick for most vehicle cup holders.

Not the best "travel mug" as you can't really sip from it while on the go e.g., walking, driving, etc.

but fantastic if you just want to take your coffee to work/school and have a nice vessel to keep it hot and pleasant to drink from.

I love the look of this mug, and that I could throw it into a bag without worrying about spills. That said, I bought it so my green tea wouldn't taste like silicone anymore, but unfortunately the tiny bit of cushion around the lid still imparts flavour. Maybe you wouldn't notice it with coffee, which I believe is what it was designed for anyway. I've yet to find any travel mug that doesn't ruin the flavour of light teas, was hopeful for this one but at least it's pretty!

I love this mug. I use it every morning. It's perfect for someone like me who likes to linger over my one cup of pour-over coffee because it keeps my coffee at the best drinking temperature for a long time.

The thin rim is genius. It elevates the coffee drinking experience to new levels.

This is my second Fellow Carter travel mug. I got the Fellow Carter Move mug first. I loved that mug so much at first sip that I had to get a second Fellows for no reason at all! If you don't know which mug to get, the Everywhere mug is best for non-travel because it is squat and wide like a mug. It's easier to drink out of (rim doesn't bump your nose) and you get more of the coffee aroma. The Move mug is best option for cup holders and travel because it's taller and skinny for those pesky cup holders.

They have beautiful designs, I am pleased with them as gifts! One person uses it for tea and it works just as well. Only problem is that I ordered two and only one black pouch came with them

The mug is really well designed, but earlier production one like mine(from Jan 2021) have issue with O-ring odor.
I heard the later production model fixed this issue (O-ring with a small cut is the updated version).

Beautifully designed and built

This mug is awesome! The thread is on the inside so the lip is very comfortable, and is designed to be very comfortable to sip from. It feels sturdy and premium, plus it matches all my other matte black coffee equipment, haha. It fits an aeropress perfectly! It also pours easily without dripping. Maybe a little expensive, but definitely with it. I just wish I had bought the version with a splash guard. This also won't fit most car cupholders, in case that that's important for you. I much prefer the aeropress compatibility ;)

Doesn’t have the metallic taste that ruins good coffee thanks to the ceramic coating. Pretty good!

It was perfect for keeping your coffee hot, but the lid often causes inconveniences every time it is opened. Water droplets will get stuck on the lid and just be careful with it.

Looks great and keeps the temperature stable for a decent time. Will NOT fit car cup holder.
