HARIO V60-03 Dripper (Plastic) (Clear)

It works great for doing larger portions of coffee. I usually brew around 700mls with it. Also very easy to clean.

I already had this V60 dripper in a smaller size, but I upgraded from the single life to living with a partner so it was time to be able to brew more coffee at a time. Can’t beat it for the price.

I was tired of making single pour overs. This allows me to make 2 perfect cups of coffee per batch, and generous ones. I'm in love! Also, you get to see if you are not pouring correctly or too on the edges, as channeling becomes very obvious being a clear V60.

Affordable and sturdy. As a beginner I enjoyed making pour-over with the V60.

Made from durable plastic. Does not absorb a lot of heat. Big enough to make 2 decent sized cups of coffee. Full control over the brew. Pairs great with the cloth filters.

I thought this was going to be a flimsy piece of plastic like some of the stuff I remember from the 80's. What a nice surprise to find out that this was a solid thick dripper that feels sturdy and not at all fragile. It retains heat very well and is super easy to keep clean. I can see this lasting for years and delivering great tasting coffee every step of the way.

I watched a video on James Hoffman's YouTube channel, and thought "hmm, if this is the way a coffee expert brews pour-over coffee, maybe I'll see what I'm missing."

My technique is terrible, but each time gets a little better. Even the worst go with the V60 has been better than my best French Press.

Regarding size, the 03 is the largest, and a lot less common than the V60-01 and 02. Most people drink coffee from a mug that is probably closer to 2 cups, so if you'll ever make coffee for 3-4 people, pick up this size.
