HARIO Mizudashi Cold Brewer Tea Pot (1200ml/41oz)

Bought this thing, washed it right out of the box, set it down in the dish rack and it LIGHTLY touched another glass, and a small piece of glass clean breaks right off!! I don't know if they have quality control issues or what, but after being told there is no exchanges on glass, I definitely won't be trusting any glassware from hario anymore.

EDIT: Well the great folks at Eight Ounce reached out and provided another tea brewer. I've used it a couple times for some delicious green tea, and I like it a lot! It's sleek, elegant, easy to clean, and looks great! I will be using it a lot, I bet!

Wanted to use it as a coffee cold brew pot, but didn’t notice that it’s such a large one… Anyways, works well as a tea pot. Would be better for cold brew if it can be sealed. Now because the lid cannot be sealed, I cannot lie it down in the fridge when there’s not enough room.

Great canister for cold brew teas! Really enjoyed the ease of having this in the fridge as our dedicated teapot for cold brew. Filter works well to ensure proper brew!

I’ve been using this to make cold brew corn tea (Korean corn silk tea) every single day now that the weather is warmer. The whole family loves this jug. It’s convenient and goes in the dish washer for easy clean up.

Love the cold brewer for tea! We always have a batch going in our fridge and its a tasty and more refreshing alternative to juice. We got it in the winter and it is always in use. I am sure it will be even more loved in the summer.

Since I got it (and washed in dishwasher), I've been using it everyday, trying various combinations of black teas. Waiting for the cold brew coffee one to be in stock.
