Tulise Washing Station processed this Ethiopian landrace lot using dry anaerobic natural fermentation. Semi-shaded drying over 23 days yields a syrupy, rich texture with luscious notes of stewed strawberries, apricot, and brown sugar.

This was a great brew

Turned out great brewing with a Kalita Wave. Juicy cup of stone fruit. DAK has been pretty consistent. I like!

Stone fruit and strawberry aroma really come out of this one for me it was a great buy worth trying

Apricot

I'm a big apricot fan and am pleasantly surprised that I can actually find the apricot note in the cup (15g, v60, 1:16). This is probably one of the smoothest and most balanced beans I've tried so far. And the special edition box is a nice touch, makes a good collection piece.

Very fruity

Very balanced coffee for filter brew. You definitely taste the strawberry.

Spectacular

My two favorite Ethiopian coffees in the last 12 months have been DAK’s Rumba and their Hydro Honey. This particular bean is so so so sweet and easy to drink. That strawberry note is in the finish but very prominent. It’s just so good. Unfortunately, though, Eight Ounce has this advertised as a 250g bag but it’s actually sold as a 200g bag. I love this coffee so much I’m not even that mad about it haha.

Consistently fruity, great roast

Strawberry jam

I had tried two strawberry co-fermented coffees before this one but none of those had the sweet strawberry notes of this one! it is just like the strawberry jams my mom used to make! Although it is an anaerobic process coffee you barely feel those annoying fermenty notes.

Jammy and sweet

This Is a fantastic natural Ethiopian. Very sweet cup with strong notes of stewed strawberries, and a super jammy finish. Has a nice earthy body to balance out the sweetness. Can definitely tell it’s anaerobic process, but not overwhelmingly so. Really quite balanced for this Style.
