The Worthwhile Upgrade

I'm very happy with my new grinder! I've been using a Timemore C2 for years and finally decided to upgrade to the Comandante C40. I'm already appreciating the larger range that the C40 has for grinding for pour-over, and found my coffee has increased clarity compared to my previous grinder. Plus, I appreciate the size of the dosing chamber when making a larger amount of coffee.

Awesome grinder

Replaced timemore grinder. C40 makes different tasting coffee. It tastes more intense and clean. Some might prefer that, but for me, I like calm and earthy. Need to play with it more and find the setting works for me. The device is absolutely pleasure to use.

Passes the White Paper Test

‘A magnificent grinder that passes the white paper test, hands down! Sprinkle freshly ground, unused Comandante grinds on a white surface. What do you see? I first noticed extremely uniform particles. The second thing I noticed is no dust! Flavor is the best test. I roast my own coffee beans to control flavor and freshness. The flavors from my Comandante grinds are so clean and so improved I abandoned my expensive electric grinder. ‘Highly recommended!
